Range of advisory services for female entrepreneurs to be expanded in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijan Association of Women Entrepreneurs will expand the range of advisory and training services for female entrepreneurs living in the country’s districts till late 2019, head of the association Sakina Babayeva told Trend.

“The free services will be rendered for the women launching their business,” she said.

“The female entrepreneurs who intend to expand their activity and business may take advantage of the expert group’s advice,” Babayeva added. “The consultations will be held as part of a social project aimed at supporting women's entrepreneurship in the manufacturing sector. The project will cover several segments of the agricultural sector.”

Over 143,000 women are engaged in business activities in Azerbaijan, according to the statistics.

The Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan was created with the support of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan and was established in October 2017.
