A durum wheat processing factory is to be launched in Kazakhstan’s Akmola Region in June 2019, Trend reports via Kazakh media.
Local flour manufacturer Agrimer-Astyk is planning to launch durum wheat processing factory this summer to manufacture pasta products. The total volume of investments amounts to 2.5 billion tenge. Furthermore, the launch of the factory is to create some 30 job opportunities.
The factory is estimated to process 200 tons of durum wheat per day. The manufactured product is to be exported to Russia and European countries.
In years 2007-2010 Kazakhstan was the leader worldwide by flour export.
