In January-May 2019, 428 companies with Iranian capital were registered in Turkey, which is 325 companies more compared to the same period in 2018, Trend reports referring to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.
The total capital of Iranian companies registered in Turkey in January-May 2019 amounted to 53.463 million Turkish liras, while in the same period of 2018 this figure was 26.356 million Turkish liras.
In January-May 2019, the largest number of Iranian companies was registered in Istanbul (345 companies), whose capital amounted to 39.326 million Turkish liras.
During the reported period, 15 Iranian companies were registered in Ankara, while 36 and seven companies were registered in Antalya and Izmir, respectively.
In January-May 2019, two mining, 38 industrial, 17 construction, 196 wholesale and retail companies, 45 tourism companies with Iranian capital were registered in Turkey. The remaining 130 registered companies with Iranian capital are involved in other sectors of the economy.
The total capital of 196 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reported period amounted to 26.641 million liras.
