In June 2019, 7,319 real estate properties were sold in Turkey as part of mortgage lending, which is by 40,300 real estate properties less compared to the same month of 2018, a source in the Turkish General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre told Trend.
In June 2019, most of the real estate properties were sold in Istanbul, according to the report.
“In June 2019, 1,175 real estate properties were sold as part of mortgage in Istanbul, which is by 6,610 real estate properties less than in June 2018,” the source noted.
In Ankara, 861 real estate properties were sold as part of mortgage, which is by 4,540 real estate properties less than in the same month of 2018.
As many as 61,355 real estate properties were sold in Turkey in June 2019, which is 48.6 percent less compared to June 2018.
In June 2019, 2,689 real estate properties were sold to foreigners in Turkey, which is 30.5 percent more compared to the same period in 2018.
