About 20,000 vessels sailed through Bosphorus during 2Q2019

A total of 19,854 vessels sailed through the Bosphorus in Turkey during the second quarter of 2019, 9,084 of which were cargo ships, Trend reports referring to the country's Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.

According to the ministry, 1,519 cargo ships sailed through the Bosphorus in January 2019; 1,301 in February; 1,616 in March; 1,587 in April; 1,600 in May; and 1,461 in June.

“Some 69 warships sailed through the Bosphorus during the second quarter of 2019,” the ministry said.
