Steel production grows in Iran

During the four months (March 21-July 22) of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), steel production in Iran increased by 7.1 percent compared to the same period last year, reads the report of the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, Trend reports.

According to the report, 8.05 million tons of steel were produced in four months.

Some 91,000 tons of copper cathodes were produced during the reporting period. Copper cathode production increased by 21.8 percent compared to the same period last year.
