Uzbekistan may purchase 10 electric buses from Belarus

The joint-stock company Toshshahartransxizmat of Uzbekistan may purchase 10 Belarusian electric buses for the capital, Tashkent, Trend reports referring to the press service of the Tashkent administration.

However, this will become possible, if the first Belarusian electric bus, already delivered to Tashkent, successfully passes operational tests, the report said.

The charging time of the electric bus is from 6 to 10 minutes. The charging will take place at the final stop "25 quarter" (Moscow region). One charge provides for up to 30 km of travel.

“The battery of the bus is designed for 90,000 charging cycles. According to a specialist from Minsk, they have 80 of these buses, 48 ​​of them are articulated, for 150 passengers each. On average, in Minsk, 0.95 kW/h is spent on an electric bus per 1 km, which is quite economical. Guaranteed battery life is 10 years," the press service said.

The capacity of the bus: 27 seats and 66 standing places. Testing of the electric bus will be carried out on the route No. 41: Chilanzar, quarter 25 - Hippodrome.

Joint Stock Company "Toshshahartransxizmat" is an authorized body of economic management of urban passenger transport in Tashkent. It provides guidance and economic regulation in the field of the transportation process in passenger transport, as well as a unified technical policy in the development and improvement of passenger transportation networks.
