Since the beginning of this year, the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan has conducted a total of 562 field inspections, Minister of Taxes of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov said at a conference on the fight against the shadow economy, Trend reports.
He added that the number of field inspections conducted over the eight months of this year decreased by three times compared to the reporting period last year.
“At the same time, this indicator decreased by 5.8 times compared to the same period in 2017,” the minister said. “In 2018, field inspections covered more than 1,700 taxpayers.”
Jabbarov added that the Ministry of Taxes will adhere to the policy of reducing the number of field inspections in Azerbaijan in the future.
