Turkmenistan expands assortment of building materials

Turkmenistan’s Ak Gaya company has issued a trial batch of drywall sheets, Trend reports referring to the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
Building and finishing materials are made from local raw materials. In addition, an automatic line for the production of dry plaster with a capacity of 8 million square meters per year was launched in an enterprise in the city of Turkmenbashi, the report said.
Ak Gaya also produces bulk building materials - fine and primer building putties. The workshop has a capacity of 80,000 tons of dry mixes per year. One of the largest suppliers of dry mortar and drywall is the local company Sabur Timur Tashev.
In addition, the local Ukyply kardeshler company opened a workshop for the production of dry construction mixtures with a capacity of 100 tons of products per day in Baherden District of Turkmenistan’s Ahal Region. Up to 12 million sheets of drywall per year and 100,000 tons of dry mixes will be produced from local raw materials by the Hili Gurlushyk Onumleri company, which is building an enterprise in the city of Magdanly of Koytendag District in Lebap Region.
