Russian companies plan to implement new joint investment projects in Uzbekistan for the production of oil and fat products, Trend reports citing the press service of Uzbekistan’s Uzegmoisanoat Association of Oil and Fat Enterprises.
The Uzegmoysanoat association hosted a meeting in Tashkent with representatives of the Russian Trans Oil transport and logistics group and the Russian Export Center companies on the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia in the sector.
“During the negotiations, the parties discussed opportunities to supply oilseeds from Russia to Uzbekistan and the effectiveness of drip irrigation systems in this segment of crop production,” read the message.
Moreover, the sides agreed to exchange additional information on these issues.
