Last year, Goychay Sud OJSC, a dairy and fruit juices producer in Azerbaijan’s Goychay district, produced fruit juices worth over 225,000 manat ($132,352), a source in the company told Trend.
The fruit juices were exported to Belarus and New Zealand, according to the source.
“Products worth over 120,000 manat ($70,588) were exported to Belarus, and products worth over 90,000 manat ($52,941) were exported to New Zealand,” the source noted. “The remaining volumes were sold in Azerbaijan.”
The company plans to export fruit juices to these two markets in the coming months this year, according to the source.
The company also plans to start exports to the Russian market, and negotiations have been underway in this direction since last year, the source said.
Goychay Sud OJSC exports only fruit juices, and the dairy products are sold exclusively in Azerbaijan.
The company is operating at full capacity and is using modern Swiss and Italian equipment.
