The Jalilabad winery, the biggest enterprise in Azerbaijan, located in Azerbaijan’s Jalilabad district, has completed the development of a new line for the production of wine, a source in the enterprise told Trend.
“About 3,000 tons of grapes were harvested from the plantations of the enterprise covering 350 hectares during the grape harvest season in 2019,” the source said.
"Accordingly, 20,000 bottles of dry and semi-dry wine are planned to be produced daily this year through opening of two lines intended for the production of wine,” the source said. “At the same time, over 170,000 decalitres of wine were produced at the enterprise in 2019, which is 17 percent more than in 2018."
Presently, the winery produces over 12 types of alcoholic beverages, as well as cognac alcohol.
The products of the enterprise have a certificate of conformity issued by the Azerbaijani State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents.
The Italian and Bulgarian equipment has been installed at the enterprise.
