Turkey’s export of cement increased by 17.8 percent from January through December 2019 compared to the same period of 2018, amounting to $3.5 billion, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade told Trend on Jan. 13.
During this period, a share of cement export was 1.9 percent of Turkey's total export, a source in the ministry said.
In December 2019, export of cement from Turkey increased by 15.7 percent compared with December 2018, and amounted to $280.8 million, the source said. In this month, the share of cement export was 1.8 percent of the country’s total export, the ministry said.
Turkey’s foreign trade amounted to $33.2 billion in November 2019.
In this month, Turkey’s export increased by 0.1 percent compared with the same month of 2018, amounting to $15.5 billion. In turn, import to Turkey increased by 9.7 percent compared with November 2018, and reached $17.7 billion.
Turkey’s foreign trade amounted to $340.5 billion from January through November 2019.
