Malaysian companies plan to build pilot training center in Uzbekistan

The Malaysian-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce can help Uzbekistan build a pilot training center and a modern logistics hub in Urgench city, Trend reports with the reference to the Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Uzbek Ambassador Ravshan Usmanov discussed this issue during his talks with Malaysian-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (MUCC) Secretary General Raj Darairaj in Kuala Lumpur.

At the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to further development of bilateral cooperation by establishing a direct dialogue between business representatives to explore prospects of implementing joint investment projects. The sides also considered organizing export deliveries of Uzbek products to Malaysia, the message said.

Following the negotiations, the sides agreed on organizing a visit of the MUCC members, headed by its president Poobalan Marison, to Uzbekistan on March 5-12, to sign a cooperation agreement with Uzbek\s Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

It is also planned to discuss the opening of a pilot training center and a modern logistics hub in Urgench city by Midlands Aviation Pacific Asia company, the construction of a hotel in Bukhara by NL Innovations, as well as conducting study by Eko Enviro Services International on the possibility of building a plant in Khorezm region for the processing of household waste for the production of electric energy.

Malaysian-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce was founded in October 2019 by Malaysian industrial and trading enterprises in order to intensify trade, economic and investment cooperation with Uzbekistan.
