Azerbaijan’s Jalilabad-2 winery talks about plans for 2020

The Jalilabad-2 winery, the biggest producer of alcoholic beverages in Azerbaijan, which is located in Jalilabad district, plans to greatly increase the production volume of alcoholic products this year, a source in the winery told Trend.

“The daily production volume reached 18,000 bottles of wine in 2019,” the source said. “It is planned to increase the production volume up to 20,000 bottles in the first half of the year. Meanwhile, the winery is able to bring it up this figure to 25,000-30,000 bottles."

"The production volume amounted to 200,000 decalitres of wine in 2019. It is planned to bring this figure up to at least 250,000-300,000 decalitres in 2020,” the source added.

“The winery produces over 12 types of alcoholic beverages, including cognac spirit,” the source said. “Since the beginning of the year, the new types of modern equipment have been installed in the winery. As a result, the production capacity of the plant is expected to increase. The production of wine, vodka and cognac will increase this year.”

The winery’s products have a certificate of conformity of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents.

The Italian and Bulgarian equipment has been installed in the winery.
