Azerbaijan’s Jalilabad winery talks export of products

The Jalilabad winery in Azerbaijan plans to expand its production potential for export abroad in 2020, a source in the winery told Trend.

According to the source, the company plans to increase the annual production of wine products.

“In this regard, the company has already developed the next production line of wines. The factory produces 20,000 bottles of wine daily. It is planned to increase this figure to 25,000-28,000 bottles. Moreover, the factory produced 180,000 deciliters of wine in 2019, and production volumes of up to 200,000 dekaliters were planned," said the source.

The company also plans exporting products abroad. It is expected that in the second half of 2020, 40-50 percent of the total production will be exported to the countries of near and far abroad.

"To date, the plant has received offers related to export to Russia, a number of Commonwealth Independent States (CIS) and China,” the source added.

The company plans to start export to Russia, CIS countries and China this autumn, the source added.

Some 12 types of products including cognac spirit are manufactured at the enterprise.

The company’s products have a Certificate of Conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.

The company uses Italian and Bulgarian equipment during production.
