The Garadagh glass factory, the biggest producer of glass bottles and jars in Azerbaijan, is increasing its production volumes, Director of this factory Fakhraddin Guliyev told Trend.
“The production volumes increased by 70 percent compared to 2019,” he said. “The monthly production volumes exceed five million bottles and jars.”
"The factory intends to bring this figure up to six million per month,” Guliyev said. “In this regard, the factory is increasing the production capacity. The production volumes did not exceed three million in 2019. At the same time, the daily production volume of bottles and jars has reached 180,000-200,000 pieces. The factory also plans to export the products abroad. One million bottles and jars were exported to the Georgian market this year.”
The Garadagh glass factory, founded in 2018, is one of the enterprises of the Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation.
The factory is located on a 22-hectare-area. Garadagh glass factory has been provided with modern Italian equipment and has the biggest production potential in the region.
Most of the raw materials are imported from Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and other countries. The production capacity of the factory is 80-85 million.
