Azerbaijani Aveta company talks flour production forecast

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 9

The Azerbaijani Aveta company located in the country’s Kurdamir district slightly increased the production volume of flour from January through May 2020, a source in the company told Trend.

“The growth rate was 12 percent,” the source said. “The daily flour production volumes reach 380 tons, and it is planned to increase this figure up to 400-420 tons by the end of the year. The products are sold in Baku and Kurdamir and other districts, while a part of the products is sent to warehouses as reserve stock.”

The volumes of flour in the warehouses of the company amounted to 580-600 tons in 2019. Currently, the volumes make up 250 tons of flour.

The company's products have a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents, and a hygiene certificate issued by the Hygiene and Epidemiology Center of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Health.

The Turkish equipment is used in the production.
