The production of companies operating under the National Iranian Steel Company (NISCO) for 3 months (March 20-June 20, 2020) exceeded 456,000 tons, Trend reports citing the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
According to the report, Iran National Steel Industrial Group (INSIG) produced 30,400 tons of steel girders during three months. The volume of steel girders production was 8,690 tons in the 1st month (March 20-April 20), 9,820 tons in the 2nd month (April 21-May 20), and 11,900 tons in the 3rd month (May 21-June 20).
“The INSIG produced 58,200 tons of fittings in three months. The volume of production was 8,430 tons in the first month, 27,800 tons in the second month and 22,000 tons in the third month,” the report said.
“The production of steel pipes by the INSIG amounted to 1,780 tons in three months. The volume of production was 859 tons in the first month, 502 tons in the second month and 421 tons in the third month,” the report noted.
According to the report, Iran Alloy Steel Company produced 67,900 tons of fittings in three months. The production volume was 22,700 tons in the first month, 25,000 tons in the second month and 20,100 tons in the third month.
“The production of other products of the Iran Alloy Steel Company amounted to 2,920 tons within three months. Thus, production was 64 tons in the first month, 2,270 tons in the second month and 586 tons in the third month,” the report added.
According to the report, the Azerbaijan Steel Company, operating under the National Iranian Steel Company, produced over 89,000 tons of fittings during three months. The production was 15,500 tons in the first month, 43,600 tons in the second month and 30,000 tons in the third month.
Iran's Khorasan Steel Company produced 117,400 tons of fittings in three months. The production was 14,500 tons in the first month, 53,900 tons in the second month and 48,900 tons in the third month.
“Iran's Ahwaz Rolling and Pipe Mills Company produced 88,000 tons of galvanized rolls during three months. The volume of production was 28,000 tons in the first month, 30,000 tons in the second month and 30,000 tons in the third month,” the report said.
