As many as 676 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Kuwait in the first half of 2020, which is 13 times more than in the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND) on July 23.
"Kuwait accounted for 0.12 percent of the total volume of cargo transportation from Turkey by trucks for the reporting period," the association said.
According to the UND, in June 2020, 147 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Kuwait, which is 4 times more than in June last year.
In total, 558,903 Turkish trucks transported cargo abroad from January through June 2020, decreasing by eight percent compared to the same period in 2019.
Some 99,165 Turkish trucks transported cargo abroad in June 2020, which is 6 percent less compared to June 2019.
