As many as 1,247 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Lebanon from January through June 2020, which is 34 percent less than in the same period in 2019, Trend reports on July 24 referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"Some 0.22 percent of the total volume of cargo transportation from Turkey by trucks accounted for Lebanon during the reporting period," the association said.
According to the UND, 189 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Lebanon in June 2020, which is 10 percent less than in June 2019.
In total, 558,903 Turkish trucks transported cargo abroad from January through June 2020, which is a decrease by eight percent compared to the same period in 2019.
In June 2020, 99,165 Turkish trucks transported cargo abroad, which is six percent more compared to June 2019.
