Iran discloses Qom Province's export details

About 49,000 tons of products worth $56 million were exported from Iran's Qom Province (northern Iran) during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 20-July 21, 2020), Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Qom Province Mahmoud Sijani told Fars news agency, Trend reports.

Sijani said that of this amount, 29,400 tons worth $40 million were exported through the customs of Qom Province.

The exported products mainly included rubber materials, copper wire, metal products, aluminum, footwear, vegetable oils, mining products, technical equipment, chemicals.

The chairman emphasized that these products were mainly exported to Iraq, China, Afghanistan, the UAE, India, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan.

Sijani noted that during four months, 13,200 tons of products worth $59.7 million were imported to Qom Province.

According to him, the technical equipment, automobiles, electrical equipment, optics, medical equipment, rubber materials, spices, synthetic fibers, nickel and others were mainly imported products.

“The products were primarily imported from China, the UAE, Turkey, India, Ukraine, Italy, Oman, Japan, Germany and Iraq during the four months,” he said.
