Uzbek Commodity Exchange reveals data on latest exchange trading activities

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Aug. 18

The Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange (UZEX) sold goods worth 1.1 trillion soum ($107.1 million) for the period from 10 to 16 August 2020, Trend reports citing UZEX.

This figure is 11.4 percent higher than the previous week.

Of these, 88.5 percent of sales went to exchange trading, 2.9 percent to exhibition and fair trading, 7.8 percent to public procurement and 0.7 percent to online auctions of car license plates.

Commodity resources worth 1 trillion soum ($97.4 million) were sold at open exchange auctions, which is 12.7 percent more than in the previous week.

It was noted that the daily average price for all varieties of cotton oil fell from 13.6 million soum ($1,325) to 12.6 million soum ($1,227) per ton or 7.3 percent.

The daily average price of sugar of all categories has dropped to 5.8 million soum ($565.2 million) per ton.

Daily average price of AI-80 gasoline decreased by 3.2 percent to 4.8 million soum ($467.7).

The weekly average weighted price of AI-91 motor gasoline was 5.6 million soum ($545.7) per ton.
