Manufacturing enterprises launched in industrial parks of Iran's Qazvin Province

As many as 20 manufacturing enterprises were launched in the industrial parks of the Qazvin Province (northern Iran) during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2020), Chairman of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization’s (ISIPO) branch in Qazvin Province Hamidreza Khanpour told IRNA, Trend reports.

The chairman emphasized that 744 people were employed in the industrial parks of the province with the launch of these enterprises.

He added that 1.96 trillion rials (about $46.7 million) were spent on the construction and launch of these enterprises.

Khanpour noted that these enterprises produce medical masks, technical equipment, decorative items, artificial boards, and other products.

“In addition, the operations of 33 manufacturing enterprises were restored,” the chairman said.

According to Khanpour, about 400 manufacturing enterprises have been launched in the industrial parks of Qazvin Province over the past seven years (the current government of Iran has been in power since 2013), and 11,000 people have been employed.

The chairman stressed that the number of employees is estimated to exceed 50,000 people with the launch of manufacturing enterprises that are currently under construction in industrial parks of the province.
