Uzbekistan, Israel to attract long-term credit lines for economic sectors' dev’t

Uzbekistan and Israel reached an agreement on attracting long-term credit lines for the development of economic sectors, Trend reports with reference to UzA.uz.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel, together with Ashra Israeli export-credit agency and leading financial companies of our country, held an online presentation of the trade, economic, and investment potential of Uzbekistan.

The event from the Israeli side was attended by representatives of companies operating in the fields of agriculture and water management, medicine, information technology, telecommunications, "green technologies", banking and financial sector.

In addition, detailed information has been provided on the current economic situation in Uzbekistan, taking into account the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, including priority areas for the development of industry, agriculture, and the banking system.

Agrobank representatives received detailed answers to their questions about the development of business ties with Israeli banks and leading financial companies, and also expressed their proposals for cooperation.

The parties agreed on attracting long-term credit lines for the development of the economic sectors of both countries.
