Uzbekistan discloses foreign trade turnover volume with Central Asia countries

The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan with the countries of Central Asia amounted to $3.4 billion, and the share of the countries of the region in the total volume of foreign trade of the country amounted to 12.2 percent, Trend reports citing State Statistics Committee.

The bulk of the trade turnover fell on the share of Kazakhstan, amounting to $2 billion (60 percent). The ratio of exports and imports to this country was $646 million and $1.36 billion, respectively.

The trade volume with Kyrgyzstan amounted to $660.7 million, of which $561.1 million were exported, and supplies of goods from this country amounted to $99.6 million.

The trade volume with Tajikistan amounted to $358.8 million. During the reporting period, Uzbekistan exported goods and services to Tajikistan for $289.1 million, and imported goods for $67.9 million.

The trade with Turkmenistan amounted to $323.6 million. Of them, $225.9 million accounted for imports, and the remaining part of $97.8 million accounted for export.

The volume of products supplied to the countries of Central Asia for 9M2020 in value terms amounted $1.76 billion, while import volume amounted to $1.59 billion

The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan for 9M2020 reached 27.49 billion, which, compared to the same period last year, decreased by 3.75 billion, or 12 percent.

The largest volume of exported goods among the large partner countries is made up of food products and live animals, industrial goods, as well as non-food raw materials, except for fuel.
