Turkmen company expanding production of import-substituting products

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 14

The Turkmen Satumar company is expanding the country's export potential, as well as the production of import-substituting products, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan information portal.

According to the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, the above-mentioned company has exported 9,400 units of detergents in 5 – kilogram packages to Afghanistan and 21,835 to Kazakhstan since the beginning of 2020.

The company also develops trade relations with Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Turkmenistan is undergoing industrialization aimed at increasing the production of import-substituting products and developing exports, as well as implementing a state program for the production of import-substituting products.

Currently, projects are also being implemented in the industrial sector of Turkmenistan to increase the production of import-substituting products, form new complexes, and create processing enterprises for the production of various competitive products based on the use of local raw materials.
