Georgia increased export of precious metal ores and concentrates, Trend reports referring to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
Georgia exported precious metal ores and concentrates in the first 10 months of this year, to the following countries:
1. China - $33.7 million, 12,066.34 tons;
2. Bulgaria - $30.9 million, 20,538.51 tons;
3. Spain - $15 million, 10,058.29 tons;
4. Australia - $5.1 million, 437.70 tons.
In 2020, the export of precious metal ores was carried out in 4 directions for 10 months, and in 2019, the export of products began in October and continued in November and December.
In 2019, precious metal ores were exported to 3 countries for a total of $10.5 million:
1. Bulgaria - $7.3 million, 4476.26 tons;
2. China - $2 million, 901.55 tons;
3. Singapore - $1.2 million, 501.29 tons.
According to Geostat, these products were not exported in 2018.
In 2017, ores and concentrates of precious metals were exported from Georgia to Korea in the amount of $1.2
million.
