Asian Development Bank has allocated grant funding for the quasi-public sector to improve the road industry of Kazakhstan, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development.
The program implementation will be coordinated by the Committee for Roads of the ministry. The program implementation will begin in 2021 and is to be carried out for a period of 1.5 years.
The funded program is aimed at improving the regulatory framework, regulatory and technical documentation, improving road safety, as well as reducing corruption risks in the road industry of Kazakhstan.
Within the framework of the program, the Asian Development Bank will administer the program, attract consultants, conduct seminars, and ensure the quality and coordination of all project results.
