Kazakhstan’s export of processed wheat to countries outside Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) amounted to $165.3 million over the period from January through February 2020, Trend reports with reference to the statistics data of Eurasian Economic Commission.
The report said that during the reporting period Kazakhstan exported processed wheat to Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Georgia, Iran, Italy, China, Lebanon, the UK, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
Thus, during the reporting period Kazakhstan’s export of wheat to Azerbaijan stood at $835,806 with a share of 1.1 percent among other EAEU countries. Export of Kazakh processed wheat to Afghanistan amounted to $20.4 million with a share of 100 percent among the EAEU countries.
In turn, Kazakhstan’s export of processed wheat to Georgia amounted to $525,069 (share of 2.9 percent), to Iran to $11.8 million (100 percent), to Italy to $2.4 million (27 percent), to China to $13.6 million (57.9 percent).
Kazakh wheat export to Lebanon amounted to $735,336 during the reporting period (5.6 percent among EAEU), whereas export to the UK amounted to $1.8 million (100 percent).
Furthermore, Kazakhstan’s wheat export to Tajikistan equaled $27.9 million (99.9 percent of total volume among EAEU), to Turkmenistan - $1.2 million (87.7 percent), to Turkey - $377,304 (0.1 percent), to Uzbekistan - $85.3 million (99 percent).
Kazakhstan’s export amounted to $7.08 billion during the reporting period of 2021 ($9.4 billion in the same period of 2020), whereas imports amounted to $4.7 billion ($4.8 billion in 2020).
During the reporting period, the main articles of Kazakhstan-Sweden trade turnover were food products, agricultural products, as well as products of the chemical industry.
