Azerbaijan plans to increase export of goods to Arab countries

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3

Azerbaijan plans to increase the export volume of its products to the markets of the Arab countries, Yalchin Aliyev, executive director of the Association for Azerbaijan - Arab Countries Cooperation, told Trend.

“Azerbaijan is expected to start to export the goods to the Syrian market,” executive director added.

"The Arab countries and Azerbaijan today cooperate only in the fields of energy and agriculture," Aliyev said.

The executive director stressed that it is planned to supply Azerbaijani products to the markets of Egypt, Oman and Bahrain.

“Kuwaiti investors are showing interest in the Azerbaijani tourism sector,” Aliyev said. "We are also working to attract Kuwaiti investors to implement the projects in other spheres."
