As many as 33 industrial enterprises were put into operation in the industrial parks of the North Khorasan Province (north-eastern Iran) during the first 4 months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through July 22, 2021), Executive Director of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization’s (ISIPO) branch in North Khorasan Province Siavash Vahdat told reporters, Trend reports via IRNA.
Vahdat emphasized that a total of 478 billion rials (about $11.3 million) was spent on these enterprises and as a result, 409 people were employed.
The director added that since the establishment of North Khorasan Province, contracts have been signed on the establishment of 796 enterprises.
“So far, 307 enterprises have been set up in the province. A total of 3.94 trillion rials (about $93.9 million) has been spent on these enterprises and 4,810 people have been employed as a result,” he said.
According to Vahdat, 45 enterprises do not operate in the industrial parks of the North Khorasan Province, at present.
The director noted that the activities of 15 enterprises in the industrial parks of the province were resumed over the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), while the activities of 5 enterprises – in the first 4 months of the current Iranian year.
