Turkmen enterprise puts smart TVs up for sale at commodity exchange

The Aydin Gidzheler economic society in Turkmenistan has put up 6,000 smart TVs for auction at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMT), Trend reports with reference to the ORIENT information portal.

According to the information, Turkmen smart-TVs with LCD screens and 4K Ultra HD resolution was exhibited at the SCRMT for the first time.

It is noted that a batch of Tolkun smart TVs with a 32-inch screen will cost foreign importers only $142 per unit. Appliances under the same brand, but with a 42-inch diagonal, will be exported for $216. Also, Zemin 55-inch TVs will cost $329 per unit.

Smart TVs from Aydin Gidzheler Enterprise first entered the domestic Turkmen market in June 2020. The company produces 100,000 units of this equipment annually.

The assembly of Turkmen TVs is carried out according to the technology and using the components of the Chinese Xin Hong Bo Trading Limited.

Aydin Gidzheler economic society is one of the first enterprises opened under the state program for the creation of the electronic and electrical industry in Turkmenistan. In 2017, Aydin Gidzheler launched the production of LED lamps, and the assembly of computers, tablets, and netbooks is already underway.
