Iran Khodro Company has manufactured 239,000 vehicles during the first six months of current Iranian year (started March 21,2021) , according to a company report obtained by Trend.
The statistics in the report show a 1.4-percent increase of auto production in the first half of the current Iranian year, compared to 235,000 vehicles manufactured in same period last Iranian yea(started March 20,2020).
Iran Khodro has produced more than 52,000 vehicles from August 23 to September 21, that indicate a 10.6-percent growth compared to same period last Iranian year.
Iran Khodro Industrial Group is also a leading company in manufacturing heavy and semi-heavy vehicles in Iran, and had considerable production in these categories during the first half of current year.
The report indicates the manufacturing of trucks and mini-trucks has increased by 87.8 percent, from 987 vehicles last year to 1,854 in the first half of the current year.
The manufacturing of buses and mini buses had a 380.6-percent growth (from 62 vehicles last year to 298) during the first half of the current year.
Iran Khodro had a 12.5-percent increase in manufacturing of vans in the current year.
