The Turkmen rice cleaning enterprise in the Dashoguz region has produced more than 13,600 tons of rice and cereals since the beginning of this year, Trend reports via Business Turkmenistan.
To date, the volume of products manufactured at the enterprise has reached over 18 million Turkmen manat ($5.2 million).
The rice processing plant, which specializes in rice production, can process 30,000 tons of rice without waste, per year.
Rice growing is one of the main sectors of the agricultural industry in the Dashoguz region.
Some 35,000 tons of rice were harvested from 8,100 hectares across the region.
As a result of state investments, a rice cleaning enterprise was built in the Dashoguz region, capable of delivering up to 30,000 tons of corresponding products per year.
When it comes to rice types, the enterprise prefers the sorts such as Nukus-2, Munbash, and Alenga, which have proven to be most suitable for local soil and climate, and are also known for high productivity and yield.
