Iran sees increase in exports

TEHRAN, Iran, Feb. 2

Iran's export has exceeded $40 billion and is expected to reach $45 billion by the end of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2021), said the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, Reza Fatemi Amin, Trend reports citing IRNA.

"The country's exports of engineering and technical services has increased to $1.8 billion and has doubled in the current Iranian year compared to the last year," he said.

"Iran has established two export terminals and six business centers in various countries. The Ministry of Industries, Mine and Trade has signed trade agreements with Eurasia and Pakistan and exported two surgical robots to Indonesia," Amin indicated.

The ministry is in talks with the Central Bank of Iran to use blockchain for export and import. The return of export revenues has increased 8 percent and the country had 650 bartering cases and boosted export in return for import.
