The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the member-states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) amounted to $26.09 billion as of 2021, which is by 28.02 percent more than in 2020 ($20.3 billion), Trend reports with reference to the Committee on Statistics of Kazakhstan.
According to the committee, export from Kazakhstan to the EAEU countries amounted to $7.6 billion in 2021 ($5.6 billion in 2020), while import amounted to $18.4 billion ($14.7 billion in 2020).
Thus, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Russia amounted to $24.2 billion as of 2021, which is by 29.1 percent more than in 2020 ($18.7 billion). The share of Russia in the total volume of trade in Kazakhstan increased to 23 percent in 2021 (21.7 percent - in 2020).
The export from Kazakhstan to Russia amounted to $6.9 billion for 12 months of 2021, which is by 38.1 percent more than in 2020 ($5 billion) while import - $17.3 billion increasing by 25.8 percent compared to 2020 ($13.7 billion).
The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan amounted to $970.8 million in 2021 ($848.5 million in 2020). Kyrgyzstan's export to Kazakhstan amounted to $625.2 million in 2021 ($581 million in 2020) while import - $345.6 million ($267.5 million in 2020).
The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Belarus amounted to $858.7 million in 2021, increasing compared to $742.2 million in 2020.
The export from Kazakhstan to Belarus amounted to $97.6 million in 2021 ($77.3 million in 2020), while import amounted to $761.07 million ($664.8 million in 2020).
