BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 30. The volume of associated petroleum gas production in Kazakhstan amounted to 3.1 billion cubic meters in January 2022, up by 19.6 percent compared to January 2021 and down by 1.3 percent relative to December 2021, Trend reports referring to the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the reporting month, Kazakhstan imported 904.7 million cubic meters of associated gas, which was 30.8 percent less than in January 2021 and 10.9 percent more than in December 2021.

Out of the overall volume, 891.6 million cubic meters were exported, decreasing by 44.1 percent compared to January 2021 and 31.2 percent compared to December 2021.

Some 2.1 billion cubic meters were sold on the domestic market, growing by 35 percent in relation to January 2021 and 17.1 percent in comparison with December 2021.
