BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 5. There are currently 1,640 industrial enterprises under construction in the Iran’s Markazi Province, Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of the Markazi Province, Ali Jodaki told IRNA, Trend reports.
The chairman noted that a total of 588 trillion rials (about $14 billion) will be spent on these enterprises.
Jodaki also added that 51,852 people will be employed with the launch of the mentioned enterprises.
“Of the 301 industrial enterprises under construction in the Markazi Province, there is more than 60 percent physical progress in construction work. These enterprises will employ 13,625 people after launch,” he said.
According to Jodaki, most of the enterprises under construction in the province are in the Arak County. Thus, 77.9 trillion rials (about $1.85 billion) will be spent on the construction of 80 enterprises under construction in this county.
There are more than 2,800 industrial enterprises in Markazi Province.
