BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Passenger car manufacturing of Iran’s Saipa Group decreased by 13.8 percent, during the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through May 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.
According to the report, the Saipa manufactured a total of 41,869 passenger cars within two months.
Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at 48,610 cars.
So, the company manufactured 33,248 units of “Tiba”, “Quick”, “Saina”, 3,426 units of Shahin cars, as well as 5,154 pick-ups in 2 months.
Over the second month alone (April 21 through May 21, 2022), the Saipa Company manufactured a total of 28,226 cars.
Three giant Iranian automakers (Iran Khodro, Saipa, and Pars Khodro) manufactured a total of 122,317 cars for the first two months of the current Iranian year, which is an increase of 3.13 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
So, these companies had manufactured 118,596 cars in the first two months of last Iranian year.
