TEHRAN, Iran, May 30. Iran Khodro (IKCO), major Iranian automaker will end production of Samand model next month, while it will keep increasing production of other models, said the company, Trend reports citing Tasnim News Agency.
"There are 26,000 incomplete vehicles in IKCO parking lots and 18,000 of them are Samand models in Tabriz. The company will discontinue production of this model and get rid of incomplete vehicles from its sites," the company said.
IKCO said the production of Samand and Peugeot 405 will end after the company completes the production of 9,000 Samand car models for the Taxi Organization of Tehran.
