BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 28. Exports from Iran’s Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province increased by 61 percent in value and 10 percent in volume, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Director General of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province Customs Office, Esmail Allahdadi told IRNA, Trend reports.

According to Allahdadi, about 23,500 tons of goods worth $21.6 million were exported from the province within the mentioned period.

The director general added that the main goods exported from Iran’s Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province were ceramics, aluminum wire, construction materials, water conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, almonds, carpet, etc.

“These goods were mainly exported to Iraq, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Syria, Turkmenistan, Russia, Italy, Turkiye and other countries,” he said.

In total, 130,000 tons of goods worth $93 million were exported from Iran’s Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022).
