IRICA shares data on Iran’s non-oil exports

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 28. Iran's non-oil exports amounted to more than 51.7 million tons worth about $24.3 billion during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2022), Trend reports referring to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

Iran's non-oil exports for 6 months increased by 13.3 percent in value, while decreased by 12.5 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.

Within 6 months, Iran mainly exported $2.01 billion worth of liquid propane, $1.33 billion worth of methanol, $1.16 billion worth of liquid butane, $977 million worth of liquid natural gas (LNG), and $976 million worth of polyethylene.

The mentioned 5 products accounted for about 26.5 percent of Iran's total non-oil exports.

During the reporting period, Iran exported non-oil products worth $7.84 billion to China, worth $3.38 billion to Iraq, worth $3.11 billion to the UAE, worth $2.62 billion to Türkiye and worth $904 million to India.

Generally, Iran's non-oil trade turnover for 6 months amounted to 68.1 million tons worth about $50.3 billion. Trade turnover increased by 13.2 percent in value compared to the same period last Iranian year.
