BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 15. As many as 262 new buses and minibuses were put into use in Iran’s capital, Tehran, October 15, 2022, Trend reports referring to ISNA.
A number of Iranian officials attended the event dedicated to the launch of new vehicles in the capital.
In total, 200 new buses and 62 minubuses were put into use in Tehran.
Speaking at the event, the deputy chairman of Tehran Municipality Jalal Bahrami said that 2,000 buses are currently needed in Tehran.
“Some 1,000 buses are expected to be manufactured in the country by the end of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2023). At the same time, 1,000 buses are planned to be imported to the country,” he said.
