BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 15. The passenger car manufacturing of Iran Khodro Industrial Group (IKCO) has increased by 44 percent from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 to December 12, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the IKCO’s official website.
In total, Iran Khodro Company manufactured more than 440,000 passenger cars within the mentioned period.
During the last three months, the company manufactured an average of 70,000 passenger cars per month.
In addition, the IKCO sold more than 431,000 passenger cars from Mach 21 to December 12, 2022. This shows a 37-percent increase compared to the same period last Iranian year.
At the end of 9th month (December 21, 2022), the company's car manufacturing is expected to exceed last year's production (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022). This is considered the next success for the company.
Meanwhile, in the last Iranian year, Iran Khodro Company manufactured a total of 451,121 passenger cars.
