Iran names details of non-oil exports from Golestan Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 22. In total, more than 238,000 tons of non-oil products worth approximately $142 million were exported from Iran’s Golestan Province in the north-east of the country, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2022), Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Golestan Province Darvishali Hassanzadeh said, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.

“In 8 months, the value of non-oil exports from the province increased by 28 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year,” Hassanzadeh noted.

The chairman also added that of the total non-oil exports from the province for 8 months, 219,000 tons worth about $112 million were exported to Iran’s neighboring countries.

In total, the province’s goods were exported to 31 countries, mainly Turkmenistan, Iraq, Kazakhstan, and Afghanistan, he said.

According to him, cheese, dates, iron and steel materials, rubber products, cement, copper wire, etc. were the main exported goods from the province in 8 months.
