BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 28. Iran’s non-oil exports via the customs of Sistan and Baluchestan Province (south-eastern Iran), increased by 3 percent in value and 1 percent in volume, during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through February 19, 2023), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Supervisor of Sistan and Baluchestan Province Customs Office Mohammad Ali Khashi told Tasnim News Agency, Trend reports.
“In total, 4.1 million tons of non-oil products worth approximately $1.42 billion were exported through customs of the province in 11 months,” the official said.
Khashi said that the main exported goods through the province’s customs for the reporting period were cement, travertine stone, coal, dates, vegetables, tomatoes, apples, raisins, shrimp, fish and etc.
According to him, the mentioned goods were mainly exported to Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Iraq, Kuwait, the UAE, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Tajikistan, and Lebanon.
There are 12 customs offices and border markets in Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
In general, Iran exported over 111 million tons of non-oil products worth $48.8 billion within the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through February 19, 2023). This is an increase of 12.2 percent in value, while a decrease of 1 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
