BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 13. Iran's milk and dairy products exports increased by 61.7 percent in value and 5.5 percent in volume, during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through February 19, 2023), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

Overall, Iran exported about 426,000 tons of milk and dairy products worth over $628 million in 11 months.

Meanwhile, the exports stood at 413,000 tons worth approximately $389 million in the same period last Iranian year.

During 11 months, Iran mainly exported 99,500 tons of dry milk worth $105 million, 84,200 tons of cheese worth $103 million, and 111,000 tons of milk and sour cream worth $92.3 million.

In total, Iran exported over 111 million tons of non-oil products worth $48.8 billion within the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through February 19, 2023).

This is an increase of 12.2 percent in value, while a decrease of 1 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
