Iran shares data on annual non-oil exports to neighboring countries

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 23. Iran exported about 75.2 million tons of non-oil products worth over $30.5 billion to neighboring countries, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through March 20, 2023), a member of the international and foreign trade committee of the House of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran Rouhollah Latifi said on social media, Trend reports.

The official noted that Iran's non-oil exports to neighboring countries for the reporting period increased by 19 percent in value compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 21, 2021, through March 20, 2022).

Latifi also added that the neighboring countries accounted for 57.5 percent of Iran's total non-oil exports in value for the last Iranian year.

"So, Iran exported non-oil products worth $10.2 billion to Iraq, worth $7.46 billion to Türkiye, worth $5.77 billion to the UAE, worth $1.63 billion to Afghanistan and worth $1.49 billion to Pakistan in the last Iranian," he said.

According to Latifi, Iran also exported non-oil products worth $1.08 billion to Oman, worth $755 million to Russia, worth $654 million to Azerbaijan, worth $460 million to Turkmenistan, worth $198 million to Kuwait, worth $195 million to Kazakhstan, worth $124 million to Qatar, worth $14.7 million to Saudi Arabia, worth $10.4 million Bahrain and worth $464 million to others.

As for Iran's total non-oil trade turnover with neighboring countries for the last year, the official pointed out that the trade turnover amounted to about 96.8 million tons worth over $58.8 billion.

Overall, Iran exported more than 122 million tons of non-oil products worth approximately $53.2 billion in the last Iranian year, which increased by 10 percent in value, while did no changed in volume compared to the preceding year.
