BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 14. Iran's non-oil exports to Kazakhstan increased by 66.5 percent in value and 42 percent in volume for the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2023), compared to the same month in the last year,Trend reports via the statistics of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

During the 1st month, Iran exported a total of 38,200 tons of non-oil products worth $12.5 million to Kazakhstan.

Meanwhile, the figure stood at about 26,900 tons worth $7.52 million in the same period last Iranian year.

Iran mainly exported agricultural and food products, tobacco products, petrochemical products and etc. to Kazakhstan in the first month.

In total, Iran exported about 476,000 tons of non-oil products worth over $195 million to Kazakhstan, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), which is an increase of 4.5 percent in value, while a decrease of 7.2 percent in volume compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022).

Overall, Iran exported about 10.5 million tons of non-oil products worth approximately $3.65 billion for the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2023).

This is a decrease of 12.9 percent in value, while an increase of 17.7 percent in volume compared to the same month in the last year.
